Last Game on Kyle Field
I’ll miss this place. It means the world to me.
My Crazy Life and Aggie Football
It’s been a crazy few weeks. Two tests, a speech, and a choir performance (including extra night rehearsals) burned me out , and then this week I have done a lot of hanging out with friends (roommates especially) and not being productive. I need to strike a balance. Let’s hope that’s what this week will be. Can you believe it’s already November?
This weekend was a blast, even though we suffered a heart breaking loss to OU that I would rather not discuss. I went to the game with my good friend who is one of the drum majors of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and not only had a great view, but also felt very important.
One more football game, and my college football experience is over. Elephant walk will be a sad day (Click the link for more info if you’re not familiar with the tradition).
But until then, there is one more game to play on Kyle Field, and it’s a very important, so BTHO NEBRASKA!

The Alter Ego party this weekend was amazing. I dressed goth, which is more evident in pictures taken earlier than the one at right. I lovingly refer to this pic as “post party waffle time.”
As my little sister says:
psycho goth egg: everyone knows goths eat waffles
Also check the picture of me and Kinky Friedman… try not to be jealous. AND my super classy black and white 21st birthday party pictures.
To add some semblance of substance to my dear website, I’ll give you some links:
- I’m blogging for Mays blog at school… they use it as a recruiting tool for high schoolers. I think my favorite aspect is the robot text reader who makes the podcasts of our entries.
- I made it into the Academy of Future International Leaders. It’s kind of a big deal, and I’m really excited.
Currently can’t stop listening to:
Donovan Frankenreiter - Move By Yourself
Ben Kweller - Falling
Dirty Pretty Things - Bang Bang You’re Dead
What Made Milwaukee Famous - Sweet Lady
Ben Harper - Burn One Down
Zero 7 - You’re My Flame
KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See (Live)
Guilty Pleasure of the week:
“American Idol rewind” on Fox
Blogging from ACL
Sorry I haven’t written in a while… promise I’ll catch up soon.
For now I’m in the AT&T digital blue room tent at Zilker park at ACL listening to the faint hum of the Shins. It’s wonderful!

The always delightful Adam Parker and I officially removed the =w=’s off of our cars last night. Weezer has broken up; but beyond that, they have lost that thing that makes them awesome. Who’s to say what that thing even was (though I have my theories, most of which revolve around former bassist Matt Sharp)… the music is not the same.
I have had that huge flying W on my car (Lucy) since I got her (February of 2002). It has never stood for the World Wide Wresting Federation, nor has it ever professed my love for George W. Bush. It’s always been a commitment to the band that reminds me of my younger days in the ‘burbs.
The residue is still left (see this flickr pic), so the legacy will live on a little longer — at least until I can procure some goo-be-gone.
I posted lots of pics from the last week or so on Flickr and Facebook last night. Depending on your drug (read: social networking client) of choice, czech them out.
Carpal Tunnel, anyone?
I’m pretty sure I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist. And the more I think about it, the more paranoid I get, and the worse it feels.
From about 3 o’clock on today, I was typing at half speed. Awesome.

It’s probably because I had that Mission Trip bracelet on for 5 years. There is still an indention in my wrist. I feel… fully committed.

I read in a magazine that a good addition to organizing a closet is to have a collage of things for fashion inspiration.
So here it is.
If this helps me get dressed faster in the morning, the world will be grateful.
