Food for thought

November 26th, 2008

With Thanksgiving fast approaching I thought I would give you an update on my weight loss venture.

I started this July 7, 2008 at 175.8 pounds. I weighed in at 158 this morning. That’s a loss of 18 pounds – or 10% of my body weight.

The best part?
I don’t work out at all. Ever. I actually spent the first two months counting points hard core and going to meetings and essentially changing my lifestyle… And haven’t been paying for weight watchers since October. I will probably start up again once I move, but in the meantime I’m just maintaining the lifestyle I developed when I was countig points… And I’m still losing weight… slowly.

Weighing in this morning has rejuvenated me. I’m only three pounds away from my high school and college graduating weight… And only 8 pounds away from my expected weight loss goal. My dream weight is still 18 pounds away, but for the first time I really believe I can get there.

And in the meantime, thanks for listening!
