Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

November 18th, 2008

After weeks of waiting and wondering (and let’s face it, worrying), it’s official: In January, Jason and I will be moving to Houston together.

I am extremely excited about this new venture in my life, and I’m most excited to be sharing it with the person I love so much. I will be staying on at RD2 to work remotely, and will be in the Dallas office often – so I’ll still be seeing those of you here in Dallas when I’m in town.

For those of you who live in Houston: I will be working from home so my social life (that means you) will be very important. Also, we are looking for an apartment in West Houston (Westheimer and Beltway 8-ish), and on the lookout for suggestions if any of you have any.

For those of you who live in Dallas: I have compiled a short list of things I want to do before I leave the Big D. If any of you would like to partake, let me know.

Things I would like to do before I leave Dallas:

  1. See the sixth floor museum
I’ve never been before in all the years I’ve lived here
  2. Visit the Dallas World Aquarium
My favorite place to see exotic animals up close in DFW

  3. Eat at the Zodiac Restaurant
Located in the flagship Neiman Marcus downtown, my favorite swanky lunch spot
  4. Eat breakfast at the Coppell Deli
In high school I used to eat here every Thursday… Deliman himself knew my order
  5. Donate to Feral Friends
The Dallas based group brought VB into my life and I have been meaning to get involved with them for some time. It looks like they’ll have to settle for my cash instead of my time
